Maggie's Family

Tonight, I had a session with the best nine year old ever. She had beautiful chocolate eyes, light brown hair, and a great sense of style. She was also extremely well-behaved - sitting when told, looking at the camera when I called her name. Maggie's only flaw was that she liked to eat sticks.

Meet Maggie . . .
and Maggie's family . . .

Wonder what she was telling Maggie here . . .

Isn't Miss K beautiful? Look at those eyes!

What a gorgeous family!

I love this image of mom and daughter. Think Brooklyn will ever do it one day? :)

And for the showstopper:
My favorite image from the session. Amy - You are going to have to print this one BIG!

And the VIP winner is . . .

KIM GEARY!!!!!!!

Congratulations, Kim! You deserve it!

Please contact me ASAP so that we can get your jewelry ordered!

I've got baby feva! I've got baby feva!

Ok, so Baby Noah has totally given me baby fever! (Hopin' it will pass seein' as I can barely keep my head on straight as it is!) He is such a beautiful baby. He definitely kept us on our toes with lots of leaks and squirts (right, Dad?)! :) Noah wanted to stay awake and hang out, but after I put him in one of my cocoons, it was nighty-night. I usually don't showcase this many images, but I just couldn't help myself. We got some great shots with Mom and Dad and some really amazing ones with Baby Noah.
Mom, Dad, and Grandmas - enjoy! Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!
I loved these images so much that I had to create a storyboard to show them all!

We worked hard to get this image, and I am so glad. I love Noah's face here!

I believe this is right before Dad was caught off guard! *wink* * wink*
I love this one of Mom and Noah. Can't you just see how much she loves him?
Mom has one similar to this when she was pregnant with Noah.

Just to be clear - Noah is a Texas Longhorn fan!

Simply perfect . . .
Isn't he the cutest little thing here? The hat is so big on him!

I haven't decided what gift I will be offering for the first VIP drawing, but trust me, it's going to be a good one!

Get out there and spread the word about Frogs and Faeries!

Carson

Yesterday, I hung out with Carson and his family. Carson was soooooooooo ready for his session! He was all smiles. This was definitely the fastest session I have ever had - 45 minutes from start to finish! It was such a perfect night, and everything just fell into place. We got some amazing images. Enjoy, Mom and Dad! Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

Isn't he absolutely precious! Look at all that hair.
This is Carson's brother, Aaron. He was really cool and crackin' jokes the whole time.
I love this image of Carson looking down. He has beautiful thick lashes.
After I "accidentily" captured this image a few weeks ago with one of my best friend's children, I just had to try and recapture it here. I love it just as much the second time around!

Sara

Meet Sweet Sara. Sara is 4 months old, and the tiniest thing - ok, well, this is coming from a girl whose 6 month old could already be a lineman for the Titans! She was so smiley all morning. Sara's cousin, Ashlyn, stopped by for some pics together. You all may recognize Ashlyn as I did her 3 month pictures not that long ago.

Mom really wanted this image because we did a similar one at her maternity session where her husband and son's hands were on her belly. Now here are all their hands. I love how this image turned out, and I hope you do too, Mom! Isn't it funny how a few hands intertwined can say so much about a family?
Here's Sara and her big brother, Jacob. I love this one too!
Sara and her lovie!
Sara catnapped for about 20 minutes, and we got some really awesome sleepy baby shots.
Here's Sara and Ashlyn

Mini-session with my babies!

We got a new 52 inch tv that's mounted on our living room wall - get ready to preview your proofs on that bad boy soon! So, we need a picture of both the kiddos to sit on top of our mantle where our old tv was (well, actually still is!). When I woke up this morning and saw how cloudy it was, I knew I had to take Brooklyn and Jake out for pictures. (FYI: Overcast skies are a photographer's dream.) I fed Jake a bottle, and grabbed some peanut butter crackers for Brooklyn and hit the road. We got to Cannonsburgh around 8:30. Great, right? Nope! Obviously, Jake had other plans - like going back to sleep! My sweet baby boy who is normally all smiles wasn't havin' any of it! He would look at me, but that was all. Brooklyn was actually very cooperative, but only because she wanted to play in the creek. Hey, no problem - I'll bribe her with whatever it takes! To make a long story short, I got a few good ones of the kiddos by themselves, but not one good one of them together. I'll just have to try another day!

Even with the solemn look here, I think this is one of my favorite images of Jake. Somehow, I must get a canvas of this! Hmm . . . sell a kidney maybe?
Isn't she sweet here? She followed directions so well today!
Beautiful!
Ok, it was at this point that I knew I had to give it up. :) :)

Comments

I've had several of you email me the nicest compliments. One even brought tears to my eyes!

I thought it might be a good idea to get some comments on the blog for new clients to read. So, instead of simply copying and pasting past comments, I thought it might be fun to do it as a type of contest!

The first 5 clients to comment on here will receive a $10 credit toward a piece of photo jewelry! Can't you just see how happy Grandma would be this Christmas to receive a necklace with a picture of their grandbaby on it?

If you don't know how to leave a comment, simply click on Comment below this post. You can either sign up for a Google account, or leave your comment anonymously. Just make sure to leave your full name, so I know who to give credit to!

Good luck!

Heather

P.S. Go ahead and leave a comment no matter how many have been posted, you just may be pleasantly surprised!

Mr. T

Ha . . . ha . . . I'm just sittin' here crackin' up at my title. Remember Mr. T and all the gold chains? Having a brother, he was a big part of my childhood. :) Well, it wasn't exactly that Mr. T that I had a session with today, but Tyler was still pretty cool! He's actually only two days older than Jake. He has the biggest dark blue eyes that really stood out in his pics.

Look at those big eyes here. Gorgeous!

(I actually think those eyes were saying to me, "Get me out of this stinkin' basket!")

This image required a trip to YouTube. None of us knew how to tie a tie! Now Mama does!

My Baby's BFF!

A couple of nights ago, Brooklyn and I met up with my best friend and her daughter, Audrey. Audrey is about 7 weeks younger than Brooklyn and soooooo funny! She makes the funniest faces and can even cross her eyes, which is hysterical! Brooklyn and Audrey are such good friends. We only had about 35 minutes for the shoot, but we got a lot of great images in that small amount of time.

Tracy - enjoy your preview. There are lots more great images, and I can't wait for you to see them all! Which one is going to be your canvas?

Austin

Yesterday, I met up with Austin and his parents. Austin is a very inquisitive 10 month old. He was so interested in his surroundings that he totally ignored all of us! We were singing, jumping, making noises all to no avail! I think Austin is going to grow up to be an engineer or scientist!

Look at that cute face! I just wanna bite those cheeks! :)

Computer issues

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am having some computer issues - namely it being VERY slow. If you are expecting proofs within the next couple of day, they may be a couple of days late. I apologize. Right now, I am trying to figure out what is going on with this computer. If anyone knows of a good deal on a computer, let me know!!

Thanks,

Heather

Mr. D

Last night, I met up with Baby D and his mom and dad. He was such a happy baby. All smiles! He had me cracking up the whole time. Baby D thought that it was the funniest thing to pretend to eat grass and watch his mom run and say, "No, no, no!"

Look at this sweet pout!

Little Lillie

Meet my second session of the day - Lillie. She was one of the best babies I have ever photographed. She was so ready for her session! Lillie looked straight at the camera and smiled the entire time. Mom and Dad didn't even have to dance or sing songs to get her to look at me! We got so many good images today. I can't wait to get Baby Lillie outside for her nine months pictures!

Mom and Dad - Enjoy!

Isn't she just perfect?

Such a cute little girl!

I just had to include this one to show that, yes, Lillie is human! This little pout only lasted for about 30 seconds, and then she was good to go again! Love her!!!!
